Google will soon switch on two-factor authentication by default
Google is going to enroll people in two-factor authentication by default, starting to start enrolling customers in the process if their accounts are “appropriately configured” once enabled, they will receive a prompt on their smartphone to verify that an attempted login with their Google account is legitimate.

BMW CEO Sees Semiconductor Investment Wave Easing Supply Crunch
BMW AG expects the global shortage of semiconductors to be resolved as companies and governments zero-in on the issue, forcing carmakers to curtail production just as demand picks up in major economies that are easing pandemic restrictions. The European Commission plans to double the bloc’s chip production to at least 20% of world supply by 2030.
