Google is starting to pay for the use of Wikipedia information in its Google Search search. The company is also the first customer for the new product, Wikimedia Enterprise. The service offers access to Wikipedia content to companies that reuse and source it at a high volume. Google has been using Wikipedia information for years to help web searchers.
