"We expect Tesla sales to be flat this year and decline in 2025," he said. The company's price-cutting strategy to boost demand also appears to be diminishing in effectiveness. "Tesla's sales volume growth was only 3% in the second half of 2023, which is significantly lower than the 5% price reduction," Rangan noted. Tesla CEO Elon Musk has also acknowledged the slowdown.
