Google-owned Waze is shutting down its Waze Carpool service starting next month. The service was designed to connect drivers and commuters to save money and fuel. Waze says the company wants to focus on helping cities address mobility problems. The company says shifting commuting patterns as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic have led to more people working from home.
