Starting next week, Google Photos users will be able to see an "AI Info" section in the image details screen. This section will display information about the AI tools used to modify the image. It will also specify whether the image was modified using generative AI or if it's a composite of multiple photos. While Google was already tagging AI-modified images with metadata, this update will provide information in plain language that general users can easily understand.
