Microsoft has today launched a Windows app for macOS, iOS, iPadOS, web browsers, Android devices, and Windows PCs. This app serves as a hub for streaming Windows copies from various sources including Windows 365, Azure Virtual Desktop, and Remote Desktop. The new unified app has undergone nearly a year of testing and includes features such as a customizable home screen, multi-monitor support, and USB redirection, allowing local devices like webcams, storage devices, and printers to be used as if they were directly connected to a cloud PC. Microsoft stated that "it is limited to work and school accounts, and is primarily designed for existing Remote Desktop client users to transition to."
