Microsoft has announced plans to significantly expand its AI agent capabilities. Starting from November, Microsoft will allow users to create their own AI agents through Copilot Studio, and has announced the introduction of 10 new types of autonomous AI agents in Dynamics 365. Jared Spataro, Microsoft's Chief Marketing Officer for AI operations, predicted that "every organization will have a constellation of agents ranging from simple prompt-response to fully autonomous." These AI agents can be utilized in various business areas including sales, customer service, finance, and supply chain management. Microsoft plans to support companies in transitioning to AI-based business processes through these agents. Currently, 60% of Fortune 500 companies are using Microsoft 365 Copilot, and the company expects that with this expansion of AI agents, more businesses will be able to incorporate AI technology into their daily operations.
