Elon Musk's social media platform X filed the lawsuit in federal court in Texas against the World Federation of Advertisers, Unilever, Danish renewable energy company Orsted, Mars, and CVS Health. According to the lawsuit, these advertisers collectively withheld billions of dollars in advertising revenue from X (formerly Twitter) through the Global Alliance for Responsible Media, an initiative of the World Federation of Advertisers. X claims they conspired against the platform against its own economic interests, which it said violated U.S. antitrust laws.
