Amazon is closing 68 stores in the US and UK. The e-commerce giant is focusing on its Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods stores. The stores will close on closing dates and will give severance to affected employees. Amazon opened its first bookstore in 2015 and 4-Star and Pop Up stores in 2014.
