Amazon Web Services (AWS), Amazon's cloud division, announced plans to invest $10.45 billion (approximately KRW 14.0609 trillion) over the next five years to build and operate data centers in the UK. This investment is part of efforts to expand cloud computing and AI technologies in response to the growing adoption of these technologies and digital initiatives by UK businesses. “UK businesses are actively adopting cloud computing and AI technologies, and the UK’s digital plans are very ambitious,” said Tanuja Randery, Managing Director at AWS. “We will provide support to ensure these technologies can be utilized effectively,” he added.
