ApApple is reportedly not building its own 'metaverse' virtual world. The tech giant is expected to release its first mixed reality headsets later this year. Apple doesn't need to build its own Metaverse because there are so many others already out there. Apple will still make money from in-game purchases and will still have an App Store for developers.
