Jensen Huang, co-founder of U.S. semiconductor company Nvidia and CEO of Nvidia, recently visited China for the first time in four years. Earlier this month, he visited Nvidia offices in Shenzhen, Shanghai, and Beijing to celebrate the Lunar New Year with employees. Huang's trip to China comes amid growing concerns about Beijing's ability to circumvent U.S. chip regulations. Nvidia is a global leader in the AI chip market, and the U.S. government has tightened sanctions to prevent China from acquiring the chips. Prior to his visit, Huang warned that tighter U.S. sanctions on AI chips could lead to Chinese companies developing their own alternative technologies.
