Earlier this month, the client software Clash for Windows, a popular proxy tool that helps users bypass China's censorship system, suddenly disappeared from GitHub. The repository had been downloaded by users and updated by developers, The developer of Clash for Windows, who goes by the pseudonym @Fndroid, posted on X that he would stop updating the tool without giving any further details. "Stop updating, see you soon😅," the developer wrote in Chinese.
