Qualcomm and Microsoft are partnering to develop a custom augmented reality chip. The chip will power future AR glasses within Microsoft’s ecosystems. The Snapdragon 850 chip already powers Microsoft's upcoming HoloLens 2 headset. Qualcomm has also worked with Microsoft on bespoke chips in the past.
