구글과 MS AI챗봇 경쟁, 애플에게는 '기회'

Microsoft has improved its search engine, Bing, by incorporating OpenAI's ChatGPT software, giving users a ranked list of search results and a right-hand panel with summarized information and the ability to answer follow-up questions. This puts Bing ahead of Google's chatbot, Bard, which was recently launched and is not as advanced. As a result, Microsoft has the opportunity to beat Google as the default search engine on Apple devices, which Google has been paying for with an estimated cost of $10 billion in 2020 and $15 billion in 2021. If Microsoft can prove that Bing is a viable alternative, it may lead to a bidding war between the two companies and benefit Apple, which has no search engine or AI chatbot of its own.

The Google-Microsoft AI tussle could be a windfall for Apple
