Samsung Electronics will unveil its latest flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S24 series, on January 17. Samsung last unveiled the Galaxy S23 series in early February 2022. This year, the company will hold an unpacking event on January 17, a week after CES ends, to showcase its new flagship smartphones. According to leaked information, the Galaxy S24 series will have a design that is not much different from the Galaxy S23 series. They are expected to feature 6.2-inch, 6.7-inch, and 6.8-inch displays, respectively, and will likely feature a triple rear camera system on the S24 and S24+, and a quad camera system on the S24 Ultra. The S24 Ultra is also expected to retain the S Pen feature from the Galaxy Note series. The top-of-the-line S24 Ultra could also come in a titanium option, just like the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The processor will reportedly be Qualcomm's next flagship chip, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Samsung will hold its unpacking event at 10 a.m. PT. You can watch it via livestream.

유출된 정보에 따르면 갤럭시 S24 시리즈는 갤럭시 S23 시리즈와 크게 다르지 않은 디자인을 갖출 것으로 보인다. 각각 6.2인치, 6.7인치, 6.8인치 디스플레이를 탑재할 것으로 예상되며, S24와 S24+는 후면 트리플 카메라, S24 Ultra는 쿼드 카메라 시스템을 갖출 가능성이 높다.

또한 S24 Ultra는 갤럭시 노트 시리즈를 계승한 S펜 기능을 유지할 것으로 보인다. 최고급 모델인 S24 Ultra는 아이폰 15 Pro Max처럼 티타늄 소재 옵션도 제공될 가능성이 있다.

프로세서는 퀄컴의 차세대 플래그십 칩인 스냅드래곤 8 Gen 3을 탑재할 것으로 알려졌다.
