Although most IT companies have successfully integrated GenAI and AI into their operations and customer services, resulting in improved efficiencies and initial financial benefits, analysts say full monetization is still a long way off. While IT major Accenture appears to be the most advanced in directly monetizing AI, with significant financial results, other companies, such as Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Infosys, are in the process of expanding their efforts for broader financial impact. Accenture is emphasizing its integrated approach to AI monetization by including AI services in its regular transformation contracts. New AI contracts exceeded $900 million in the third quarter alone, bringing the total to $2 billion for the current fiscal year. Accenture follows a September-August fiscal year. Sandeep Dutta, Managing Director and Lead of Accenture India Business, said, “Without enterprise-wide innovation and a Responsible AI framework across the three pillars of data and technology, processes and people, AI and generative AI will not be able to produce the right business results.”
