The British Prime Minister's spokesman and the Attorney General have also criticized Musk's remarks. The Attorney General emphasized that linking riots and civil war is entirely unjustified. The UK passed online safety laws last year, but Ofcom does not yet have full authority, making it difficult to take action against harmful posts. The law's new obligations will be fully implemented from 2025.
