마이크로소프트, 의료 AI 도구 대거 출시

Microsoft has launched a wide range of artificial intelligence (AI) tools for the healthcare sector. The company has introduced new AI features in collaboration with Epic, Paige.ai, and major healthcare systems to support diverse medical data analysis, streamline nursing documentation, and enable the creation of customized medical AI agents.
Key features unveiled through Microsoft Cloud for Healthcare include medical AI models in Azure AI Studio, healthcare data solutions in Microsoft Fabric, healthcare agent services in Copilot Studio, and AI-based nursing workflow solutions. Notably, the foundational models for medical imaging added to the Azure AI model catalog allow healthcare organizations to integrate and analyze various data types such as imaging, genomics, and clinical records. This enables healthcare institutions to efficiently develop AI solutions tailored to their specific needs. Microsoft anticipates that these AI technologies will contribute to addressing healthcare workforce shortages and meeting patient demands. It is expected that the quality of medical services can be improved through the automation of administrative tasks, large-scale data analysis, and decision-making support.

X, AI 훈련용 데이터 제공 허용하는 개인정보 정책 변경

Social media platform X has announced changes to its privacy policy that will allow it to provide user data to third parties for AI model training purposes. The policy, set to take effect on November 15, 2024, is expected to pave the way for external companies to purchase X's data in the form of licenses. The new policy introduces a "third-party collaborators" section, but the specific methods for users to opt out of data sharing remain unclear. This move is seen as a potential new revenue stream for X, which has experienced a decline in advertising revenue. Meanwhile, X has also strengthened penalties for 'scraping', the unauthorized collection of large numbers of tweets. The company has decided to impose a fine of $15,000 for accessing more than one million posts per day. X's owner, Elon Musk, has maintained a tough stance on scraping, and this policy change appears to reflect his attitude.
