Microsoft's Designer platform has exited its preview stage after two years, becoming available to all users with official apps for Android and iOS. Designer, similar to Adobe Express, allows users to create art, greeting cards, and wallpapers using generative AI. The mobile app introduces new features like prompt templates and Frame Image, with Replace Background coming soon. Users receive 15 free daily 'boosts' for quick AI content creation, while Copilot Pro subscribers get 100 boosts daily. Windows Insider program users can try Designer in Microsoft Photos, and it's also integrated into Word and PowerPoint. However, using Designer in Word and PowerPoint requires both Microsoft 365 Personal or Family subscription and Copilot Pro subscription.
