Sony has agreed to a 10-year deal with Microsoft to keep the Call of Duty franchise on PlayStation after its acquisition of Activision Blizzard. Microsoft Games CEO Phil Spencer announced that Sony and Microsoft have reached a "binding agreement" to keep Call of Duty on PlayStation. The deal is expected to end a bitter battle between the two companies that has raged privately and publicly over the past year since Microsoft announced its acquisition of Activision Blizzard in January 2022.

Elon Musk officially announced on Wednesday (local time) that he is launching an AI company. Musk unveiled the AI company, called xAI, and its 12-member team, CNN reported. "The company will be led by Musk and will work closely with X (Twitter), Tesla, and other companies to advance our mission," according to xAI's website. It also states that "xAI's goal is to understand the true nature of the universe," which appears to echo language Musk has previously used to describe his personal AI vision.

Judge Jacqueline Scott Collie of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California denied the Federal Trade Commission's (FTC) request for a preliminary injunction today (Nov. 11). FTX had filed an antitrust lawsuit against Microsoft's acquisition of Blizzard late last year, claiming that it would lessen competition in the gaming market. This puts the green light on Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard.
