Mayflower Autonomous Ship completed 2,700-mile trip from UK to Canada. Solar-powered trimaran navigated by artificial intelligence created by IBM. Ship was designed to show development of technology in centuries since Pilgrim Fathers set sail for New World. It had been due to go to Massachusetts in USA, but was diverted to Canada to investigate issues.
